The Running Journal

I have embarked into running again on a serious note for the last few years. Since 2011, I ventured more into cycling and hiking. Running was merely an exercise to stay fit whenever required. It was a second sport. However, becoming 51 years old the thought changed when running is part of being physically, mentally and socially healthy. It's an escapism for the boring social world. It's a therapy for the soul . It's good for the heart, lungs and ever decreasing muscle mass and mobility. It's everything. After the pandemic lockdown, races were nothing more virtual. I ran my first race again at a trail run for 12.5km and was satisfied as a result of good training. It was no hard training, just a good training with achievable and realistic goals. The next race will be in mid September. Another 9 weeks to go and I've decided to put into a training schedule for a better half marathon time than the recent record.  The target is 2 hours 15 minutes. My KL Marathon 2021 virt

Resurrection

It's 2:37 PM on July 12th 2022 that I decided to create this blog. The thought came last night when I wish to restart writing. Had so much going on and so much had happened for the last few years. Besides, my current blog account is inaccessible which I suspected was spammed. I have my running stories, cycling stories, work challenges, life and people around me topics and my family.  I've tried Tweeting but it's limited though handy. A long write up would prefer a Blog instead. Besides, I need to write and use this brain of mine for creative thinking.
